Ukraine’s Air Force launches 16 strikes on enemy concentration areas

Over the past day, Ukraine’s Air Force launched 16 strikes on the areas of enemy personnel concentration.This is stated in the morning report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Over the past day, missile and artillery units hit three enemy anti-aircraft missile systems, two manpower concentration areas, 26 artillery systems on firing positions, and an electronic warfare station,” the report reads.

In general, according to updated information, over the past day, the Russian occupiers used three S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles and 22 Shahed Iranian-made combat UAVs against civilian infrastructure facilities in Sumy, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions.

Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 16 Shahed UAVs.

The enemy launched 56 airstrikes and 77 MLRS attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated settlements. Unfortunately, civilians were killed and injured and civilian infrastructure objects, apartment blocks, and private houses were damaged and destroyed.

“The enemy focuses its main efforts on Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, and Maryinka directions, heavy battles are ongoing. More than 40 combat engagements took place over the past day,” the General Staff informs.

In Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly.

In Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the enemy launched airstrikes on the city of Sumy and Katerynivka district of Sumy region. Mortars and artillery were fired at more than 10 settlements, in particular, Bachivsk, Khodyne, Katerynivka in Sumy region; Veterynarne, Kozacha Lopan, Budarky in Kharkiv region.

In Kupyansk and Lyman directions, the enemy actively carried out airstrikes. At the same time, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled seven enemy attacks in the areas south of Novoselivske, Novovodiane, west of Dibrova in Luhansk region; northeast of Serebrianske forestry and near Vesele in Donetsk region. More than 15 settlements, in particular, Petro-Ivanivka, Novomlynsk, Kupyansk in Kharkiv region; Nevske and Bilohorivka in Luhansk region; Verkhniokamyanske, Berestove, and Rozdolivka in Donetsk region came under enemy artillery and mortar attacks.

In Bakhmut direction, under heavy enemy aviation and artillery fire, the Ukrainian troops successfully repelled nine enemy attacks in the areas of Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, west of Yahidne, Ivanivske and southeast of Bila Hora in Donetsk region. More than 15 settlements, including Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka, Vasiukivka, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Predtechyne, and Klishchiyivka in Donetsk region, came under enemy artillery fire.

In Avdiyivka direction, the enemy fired artillery at more than 10 settlements, in particular, Keramik, Avdiyivka, Sieverne, Vodiane, Nevelske in Donetsk region.

In Maryinka direction, under enemy airstrikes and artillery fire, our defenders repelled 15 enemy attacks in the area of Maryinka city. The enemy shelled more than 15 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Heorhiyivka, Maksymilyanivka, Hostre, and Pobieda in Donetsk region.

In Shakhtarske direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of Rivnopil in Donetsk region. Airstrike was launched near Blahodatne, Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements, including Blahodatne, Vuhledar, Bohoyavlenka, Shakhtarske, and Zolota Nyva in Donetsk region, were struck.

In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy focuses its main efforts on preventing the advance of our troops. Artillery was fired at more than 30 settlements, including Huliaypilske, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia region; Marhanets, Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk region; Antonivka, Kherson in Kherson region.

The Russian occupiers continue to violate international humanitarian law and use children’s institutions in temporarily occupied settlements to provide medical care to their wounded servicemen. In particular, in the territory of a children’s health camp in the village of Makarove, Luhansk region, Russian servicemen set up a military hospital where more than 100 wounded occupiers are located. Russian military equipment and checkpoints are scattered throughout the territory of the camp. People’s houses are located in the immediate vicinity.

The situation is similar in the town of Lyman, Luhansk region, where the Russian occupiers converted the Yalynka children’s health camp into a military hospital, where more than 100 wounded invaders are treated. The territory of the camp is also used to store military equipment.
